Plating is everywhere around us. It is used in every industry and every field today, and interestingly plating has numerous benefits that cannot be denied. Plating has different forms and different types each one of them having its own unique features, characteristics and benefits. Nickel plating is one of the widely used types of plating with lots of benefits. We see nickel plated products and materials around us at our homes, offices, roads, shipping malls and everywhere.

When a metal or material plated with a coating of nickel, the material is said to be plated with nickel. Usually a thin layer of nickel is plated over certain materials and products to change the chemical as well as physical characteristics of the material.

  • It can sustain high friction. Nickel plating has very high wear resistance and hence it is widely used in different machineries.
  • Since nickel plating is very flexible, hence the thickness and volume of the plating can be changed as per needs quite easily without much effort.

Nickel plated materials are used everywhere around us perhaps the best use of nickel plating is in the decorative industry. Bright nickel is famous for its shine and brightness and hence it is used for decorating various décor products. Besides nickel plating; gold plating, tin plating, copper plating and aluminum plating are also pretty famous, and are used widely in industries today. Plating is one of the best inventions of human kind.

Scientific research and manufacturing is usually carried out in a cleanroom which is specially designed. A cleanroom is basically a room which has low level of pollutants. This room usually does not have dust particles, aerosol particles and chemical fumes. The clean room has a controlled level of infectivity. Cleanrooms are usually used for bio technology, semiconductor development, life sciences and many other fields that are susceptible to environmental contagion. Clean rooms are usually very large. Sometimes the entire manufacturing unit is made up of a cleanroom. All the equipment that is used in a cleanroom is specially designed to suit the need for low contamination.

During medical inspections, examinations and procedures, special gear has to be worn by the workers, equipment engineers, technicians and the scientists. This suit is called as the cleanroom suit or bunny suit. The suit prevents them from getting any harm done to their hair or skin and also prevents the environment of the room to get contaminated by their skin or hair particles. The suit consists of an overall garment. The suit includes the boots as well as the hood.  The suit is usually in one piece but can also make up of different pieces of cloth worn together. This cleanroom outfit is worn with the cleanroom gloves. Cleanroom gloves are used in cleanrooms. They are specially designed to be used in these rooms which have a low contamination level. The cleanrooms have sensitive medical environment. The cleanroom gloves allow the prevention of shedding of skin and hair in the closed clean room environment.

People who work in nuclear power plants also have to wear similar type of garments. The reason for wearing such suits is fairly simple. It is worn for the protection of the workers. Wearing this suit minimizes the damages caused to the skin and the nervous system of the people who work in such closed environments. It is very important to wear the cleanroom suit.  Wearing and removing all the layers of the clean room suit is quite a daunting and technical task and has to be done in the right order.

I Know That Our Son Wanted a Pair of Motorola Radios for Christmas

My husband and I know that our son is a very good little boy and deserved something very nice that he really wanted for Christmas.  I know for a fact that he was a very good boy this year and also know that he has been doing very with good in school with his behavior and grades.  He already has been saying that he wanted a pair of Motorola radios for Christmas.  I knew that it would be very good to buy him the Motorola radios.  I just knew that it would be the best thing for my husband to agree to this.  My husband humbly agreed with it, because he also knows that our son is a very good child.  I am so proud of the grades that our son has been earning in school.  We found a very nice pair of the radios that he wanted us to get him for Christmas.
